EXMOOR DOO DAH BAND
The Exmoor Do Dah! Band, as the name suggests, are based on Exmoor, North Devon. They are a four piece “skiffle” line-up with guitars, banjo, washboard and tea chest bass. However they play many different types of music including, skiffle, blues, Johnny Cash, ragtime, Rock ‘n Roll, and Irish etc. They have played all over Exmoor, North Devon, Cornwall and West Somerset: in pubs, clubs, at weddings, birthdays, beer festivals, and even a christening! Performing at the Watchet Live Festival and Watchet Summertime, Blenheim Gardens Minehead, the Llama festival at Lynmouth, the Newt Fest, Green Man Day at Pilton, and twice at the Cornish Folk Festival, Wadebridge. They’ll play anywhere as long as we have the crack!!
Exmoor Doo Dah Band have produced a CD called “Corrugated Iron” which will be for sale on the day, for the princely sum of £5, another is in the pipeline.
Audience participation is compulsory.
