Charley Charlesworth is a surfer hailing from the small village of Croyde on the North coast of Devon.
Charley has been both playing in bands and surfing his whole life. Having recently gone solo he’s since played about a million shows and loved every single minute of everyone!
Charley’s songs are folk/punk/pop influenced in sound and life influenced in lyrics. Charley previously played in a Bristol based punk/pop band for 4 years called The Merics back in the early 2000’s, this band had a single acclaimed by John Peel that was regularly played on his show. The Merics toured with bands such as The Lawrence Arms, Travis Cut, 4ft Fingers and many others. An amazing time was had by all.
